EARLY ACCESS · DRAFT FOR REVIEW

Cookies & browser storage

Updated 28 October 2026 · Not a final legal document.

Sign-in and navigation

Browser storage is used to keep your account signed in and remember an invitation destination during sign-in. Clearing it can sign you out. The account session lasts until it expires, is removed or you sign out; temporary navigation state is removed when consumed or the browser session ends.

Preferences

Local storage remembers light/dark appearance, the account-specific destination-theme choice, a workspace’s selected trip and recent exchange-rate refreshes. Map notices and temporary map error state may also be stored. Persistent preferences remain until cleared or overwritten. These are preferences, not controls that grant access to household information.

External requests

Maps and fonts may load from third-party services. Those providers may receive device information and use storage under their own policies. The external-service storage inventory and consent requirements need review before commercial launch; this draft does not claim that every third-party request is strictly necessary.

Marketing and consent

This release adds no advertising tracker or marketing cookies. A consent banner is not a substitute for checking what third-party services actually load. Any non-essential tracking added later must remain off until valid consent where required, with equally accessible refusal and withdrawal options.

Your browser controls

You can clear site data or block storage in your browser. Some sign-in and saved preferences may stop working. Clearing browser data does not delete the planning records saved in your account. The final policy must identify cookie/provider names, durations and the operator’s contact details.
